STIHL is a brand with roots deep in American grit—but somewhere along the way, that truth got buried under polish. So we set out to uncover it. We turned the lens toward the people who live that legacy every day—firefighters, loggers, ranchers, smokejumpers—the ones who reach for STIHL when the stakes are high and failure isn’t an option.
It was time to give STIHL its edge back. The brand had gotten too polished—too clean for the world its tools live in. So we went real: real people, real tools, real dirt. The result? Some of the most authentic and striking visuals the brand’s ever had.
Through a seven-day shoot, we captured enough assets to fuel the story for years to come. We brought our message through the funnel from top to bottom. Social, email, print, in-store, website, you name it. Working with these assets was a joy and the stories were rich beyond what we hoped for.
